Inspired by Crag Hill and Rebecca Loudon, but also by Maggie Nelson's Bluets and Sarah Bakewell's wonderful new biography of Montaigne, I have decided to myself answer the questions in Questions At Ohio State. I have decided, that is, to attempt responses to my own questions. Wish me luck.

    WOW! I've been working on them for almost four hours today and I'm feeling wobbly in a good way ALL OVER.

    Take strong drink and something for the belly (me? 197 year old pack of Rolaids.)

    Oh--wait a minute. That was what you need to read my answers. What you need to take to answer your questions is a cherry pie and a Zippo lighter embossed with Marilyn Monroe's image.
