Actually, Jim, I think that people are exposed to poetry everyday (it's everywhere, man) but that they either don't recognize it or they call it something else. Poetry permeates everything. Just like sex. Of course I'm just speaking for myself (whoever that is).
Agree with you Tom. Why some people think that every human on the planet should be 'exposed' to poetry is beyond me. But they do.
